USIPL has set-up the Ramala Sehkari Chini Mill on an EPC basis. The Plant was inaugurated in November 2019, by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of U. P. Shri Yogi Adityanath. The plant is being operated and maintained by USIPL.

The factory has created a record power cogeneration along with sugar production.

 

The Plant has crushed 83 lakhs quintals of sugarcane, which is 76% higher over the previous season. The recovery of the sugar is also increased to 10.77% from 9.19%, helping bag 8.94 lakhs quintals of sugar, which is more then double from the previous year production. The factory has also earned an additional revenue of Rs. 15.0 crore on account of export of electricity from its new cogeneration plant.

 

The factory with the increased crushing capacity has helped directly or indirectly about 40,000 farmers in the region and last 3 years. It has consistently won the national award for the best-performing sugar mill in U.P. It has achieved the highest crushing – reaching almost 100 lakh quintal of sugar-cane in the last crushing season of 2021 - 2022
