Over Head / EOT Crane is be designed and manufactured for class M5 duty as per IS: 807-2006 and IS: 3177-1999 and related Indian standard specifications. Each and every component is stage inspected before assembly. Workmanship is of best quality in accordance with modern workshop practices.
Limit Switches
Self-resetting / shunt type limit switches shall be provided for all motions i.e.:
i) Hoisting and lowering.
ii) Traveling in both C.T directions.
iii) Traveling in both L.T directions.
Also additional safety gravity type limit switches for over-hoisting motion shall be provided.
Motors
All motors shall be crane duty, VVVF Base Sq. Cage, TEFC. The winding shall be specially insulated and impregnated to withstand a moist tropical climate and shall have class-B insulation.
Dynamic Braking Resistance Boxes
The resistances shall be SS Grid type for Hoist Motion &Aluminium Housed for LT & CT Motion, assembled in sheet metal enclosure well ventilated. Its rating shall be 10 Minutes.
Cross Conductors
- The current collection for moving crab shall be done through festooning cable mounted on one side of Bridge.
- Three motion electrically operated overhead travelling crane of double girder box type construction for indoor installation, conforming to class II as per IS: 3177 (1977) (or equivalent) and IS: 807 (or equivalent)
- Crane shall be provided with a creep speed facility while hoisting at maximum capacity to allow the heavier loads shall be slowly and carefully handled. The crane operation shall be from ground floor through pendent push button station moving along with the crab/remote control operation.
Crane bridge box type mild steel welded construction having walkways on both side with hand railing, rails for trolley, LT assembly, cross conductors, electrical leads, power rails and collectors system for supply of electric power to the trolley bridge movement.
